Donald J. Doudna, Partner, Ph.D., ChFC, CLU, CPCU

Well known as a business and financial consultant, Dr. Donald Doudna combines the analytical ability of a researcher with practical management skills and people sensitivity.

Earning his Doctorate in Business from Wharton College, he became a Professor of Business in both Michigan & Iowa, where he set up special advising teams for retired people, teaching all aspects of Financial Planning, including investments, insurance real estate and employee benefits. In 1982, Dr. Doudna moved from education to financial consulting, working with large corporations and small businesses. Two years later, Don joined Toyota Motor Insurance Services as National Insurance Manager where he led the development of new dealer products, investment policies & government relations. He became Corporate Manager in 1996, in charge of long-range planning, product development, systems, regulatory affairs and retail & electronic marketplace. In 1999, Don was named General Manager of Toyota’s largest Customer Center in the United States. In January of 2001, Dr. Doudna became the President of The Family Business Resource Center, a Member of The Rawls Group, specializing in family business strategic planning. Author of "Getting There: A Monetary Guide for Charities," Dr. Doudna’s articles have been published in many national journals and industry publications.
